Turkey arrests 7 IS members

Turkish police have arrested seven members of the “Islamic State” (IS, aka ISIS, ISIL or Daesh) terrorist group as a result of the operation in Bingol province, the Milliyet newspaper reported on September 10.

All the detainees are Turkish citizens.

Earlier, Turkish media reported that the IS militants use Turkey’s Gaziantep province on the border with Syria as a stronghold.
