Turkey can adopt a law stipulating the deprivation of citizenships of those who support terrorism, said Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus, the TRT Haber news channel reported Apr. 6.
He said this issue isn't being considered at present, but if necessary the law will be adopted.
Fighting terrorism is one of Turkey's priorities, added Kurtulmus.
On Apr. 5, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey will continue taking all the necessary measures to fight the terrorism supporters and the country will even deprive them of citizenship.
