Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani says Russia will not force Georgia to give up its relations with the European Union by acts of pressure.
The fact that the `border` is creeping and if Russia considers this process as a pressure to make us give up our plans with EU, then we reiterate that we are not going to do so for no reason, Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani said while commenting about the recent developments in the village of Dvani, where Russian occupants have started so-called border demarcation works, as "creeping annexing of Georgian territories".
"The fact that the European Union has openly announced that this process is unacceptable is a step made forward. We need such sharp statements in order to make Russia understand by all sides that Georgia will never accept lost of even the smallest part of the soil for no cost. We`ll succeed in the process of de-occupation of our territories by dialogue with Russia. The fact that the `border` is creeping and if Russia considers this process as a pressure to make us give up our plans with EU, then we reiterate that we are not going to do so for no reason," Tea Tsulukiani said.
