
Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt believes that initialing of Association Agreement with Armenia was removed from the agenda, the minister wrote in his microblog on Twitter, noting that he came to this conclusion together with Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, Armenia Today reported.
"We came to a conclusion with Miroslav Lajcak that the Association Agreement with Armenia has been removed from the agenda now. We work with Ukraine, Moldavia and Georgia, Bildt wrote.
Last week Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan declared a decision to join the Customs Union and take the necessary practical steps with this aim and subsequently to participate in formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Russian president Vladimir Putin supported this decision and expressed Russia's readiness to fully contribute towards this process.
