Gezi park open and to be open to people - Istanbul mayor

Gezi Park is opened and will be opened to the people, governor of Istanbul Huseyin Avni Mutlu told reporters on Monday, Anadolu Agency reported.

According to him, holding meetings and protests in the park are against the law.

"Of course, Gezi Park is open again and will be open to the people. But we will not allow to turn the park into the center of the demonstrations," Mutlu said.
