Oppressed Morsi offered to depart for Turkey

Before the military coup in Egypt, the country's president Mohamed Morsi received a proposal to leave for Turkey, the Turkish newspaper Star reported on Friday.

According to the newspaper, Qatar and Yemen were among the proposed countries.

According to the newspaper with reference to Egyptian diplomatic sources, Morsi refused to leave the country.

On June 2 after the expiration of the ultimatum made against the Egyptian government, the army made a military coup by seizing the power in the country.

According to Al Jazeera TV channel, the accusations were made against Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and leaders of the "Muslim Brotherhood" organization upon the articles of violating the constitution.
