Turkish, Georgian Premiers lay regional, security issues on discussion

A meeting was held between prime ministers of Turkey and Georgia in Ankara on Thursday. As the Georgian government told Trend, prime ministers met in private first.

The sides discussed issues of deepening of bilateral relations and strengthening of economic ties.

Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed regional security issues and the multilateral projects, which are implemented with the participation of Georgia and Turkey.

After the meeting of the prime ministers, governmental delegations of the two countries held negotiations. The meeting also discussed issues of strengthening of political and economic relations and the development of good neighborly relations.
