The information about the attainment of a framework agreement on normalization of ties between Turkey and Armenia might give an impression of a unilateral step of Turkey regardless of the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, said MP Aydin Mirzazade.

"Perhaps, they have attained some agreements, but there is no definite map, no statement that they start implementing these agreements", said he.
According to him, it is important for the Azerbaijani side that Turkish Prime Minister Tayip Erdogan has stated twice through the past week that the border opening will be possible only after the Karabakh conflict is settled and this official statement is important for us", said Mirzazade.
"Unfortunately, it is unclear what the framework agreement and a road map between Turkey and Armenia. This might several meanings: either some obligations or the phased solution of some issues. But as Turkey has repeatedly bound the normalization of relations with Armenia to the issue of the so-called "genocide", it is possible to say that they might come to an agreement to pass this issue for discussion to the joint commission of historians", noted the parliamentarian.
He said in any case additional information should be received to make the established situation clear.
