The story of the attempted coup in Yerevan is gaining more
and more interesting details.
Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Artur
Poghosyan revealed some of them in an interview with Public Television.
It turned out that the leader of the revanchist protests
Srbazan, in the world Bagrat Galstanyan, kept a diary. The cheating priest
turned out to have a very sensitive mental organization, or rather, serious
psychological problems. Every day, Srbazan scrupulously entered into his diary
everything he saw, who told him what, who did what, who he met with, what he
discussed with whom. It also became known from the diary who suggested
Galstanyan to lead the coup.
Just imagine - a man is preparing a coup d'etat and
carefully writes down all the names and actions in a booklet. I'm sorry, but
you have to be an idiot not to understand the impropriety of such actions. The
authors of the coup scenario miscalculated very much, choosing the
"conscience of the nation" type in a cassock. Someone who is poorly
versed in the current situation in Armenia decided that the priest would be
able to lead the people. Instead of leading the masses, Srbazan kept a diary.
With these notes, he actually pawned everyone who was involved in the case. The
investigation won't even have to try very hard - everything is written down in
detail in Srbazan's notebook. probably, there were also pictures and photos,
like in a schoolgirl's diary.
The investigation managed to find out other interesting
details. The investigative actions showed that according to the coup plan,
"famous Armenians" were supposed to appear on the stage at the X hour
and make statements.
Some of the "famous Armenians", namely Samvel
Karapetyan, hurried to appear, although the hour of "X" had not yet
arrived. More precisely, Karapetyan was misinformed that "it's about
time," and he rode to Yerevan and began to deliver his remarks. At one
time, Ruben Vardanyan was just as quick to underestimate Baku, where they knew
better about his hour of "X" than in the country that sent him to
Karabakh. Karapetyan also underestimated Nikol Pashinyan, and when it turned
out that he was in a hurry, it was too late to buy a return ticket. Now he
reads Srbazan's diary together with the investigators.
Only Robert Kocharian is jumping for joy now that he was in
no hurry to stick his head out. Everything seemed to be ready, the go-ahead was
received in Moscow, strike groups were organized, an arsenal for street
fighting was assembled, an appropriate information background was created, and
the populist prime minister, as planned, fell for the bait of provocations and
tangled with the church. Everything seemed to be going according to the script
and should have worked out, but an error in calculations failed. The Armenian
society failed, which was not very interested in the coup project, and
Srbazan's personality only alienated it. There is no revolutionary activity
among the masses, the people have not gone for revenge, and they probably
understand that they are losing heavily to Pashinyan.
We are waiting for new interesting details from Srbazan
Galstanyan's diary. Nowadays, you often find a real reason to laugh.
By the way, let us recall that Srbazan is generally a
comprehensively "gifted" person. In early June, he presented his book
"Defeating Ourselves" in Gyumri. And the first person he presented a
copy of the opus to was... Archbishop Mikael Ajapakhyan, to whom Srbazan shared
his bad karma along with the publication. After accepting the book, Ajapakhyan
pointedly stated: "Let's go defeat ourselves." Galstanyan replied no
less meaningfully.: "And also, don't lose to yourself."
Now both of them are working together on auto-training in
the Yerevan detention center.
