Azerbaijan not to reduce customs duties and excise taxes of importing cars

All border checkpoints have already been provided with important visual publicity media within the works based on president’s order related to providence of transparency in the country, SCC chairman Aydin Aliyev informed.

According to him, each citizen can get information via placards. Customs duties are implemented via plastic cards in POS-terminals.

Aliyev noted that, the works on application of "single window" principle are being conducted in officialization of cars: "These works must be completed until May. New complex of Motor Transport Customs Department is being built within these measures. Main change will be carried out in simplify of car registration".

According to him, the customs duties and excise taxes for importing cars are not expected to be reduced.

He also noted that the situations on tariffs are normal: "Each car owner must take state budget into account".
