GDP reaches AZN 14.3 bln in Azerbaijan in January-May

Day.Az reports with reference to the State Statistical Committee that the main part of added value -74% were in producing economic sectors and 20.5% in the sphere of services.

The GDP structure is as follows:

- Production-AZN 10,585.3 mln (16.4% rise as compared to the same period of the last year)

including:

industry-AZN 9,539.1 mln (16.6%)
agriculture, hunting and forestry-277,8 (3.1%)
construction-AZN 770.4 mln (10.1%)

- services-AZN 2,628.2 mln (10.1%)

including:

transport-AZN 550.4 mln (11%)
postal services and communication-AZN 209.1 mln (35.9%)
retail and wholesale trade, repair of cars, technique and personal objects-AZN 784 mln (14.2%)
hotel and catering services-AZN 129.6 mln (33.6%)
social and other services-AZN 955.1 mln (1%)
net taxes on production and import-AZN 1,093.1 mln
deflater -AZN 133.9 mln

Per capita GDP made AZN 1,677.6 ($2,003.8), which is a 13.2% growth.
