Azerbaijan's State Immovable Property Register holds discussions with German KfW bank on a joint project

The State Immovable Property Register of Azerbaijan intends to start implementation of the project "Immovable property cadaster and registration" in Ganja and Sheki.
Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the state committee that at the meeting with representatives of the regional office on the South Caucasus countries of the German Development ank it was decided to select a consultant to define the technical task and assess the said project, implemented under KfW support in the sidelines of financial cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Germany.

It should be noted that the project aims at registering rights for immovable property in the said regions, improving cadaster system, creating more appropriate conditions for the population for use of property, information support of municipalities. It should be reminded that an agreement on financial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany was signed in Baku on April 1 of 2008.

It should be noted that in the framework of the meeting the state service was introduced a new head of the KfW regional office Carsten Kilian, who replaced Christian Chalow in this position.
