Azerbaijan, Chile explore new opportunities to expand business cooperation

The possibilities for expanding cooperation between the business communities of Azerbaijan and Chile were discussed during a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Chile in Azerbaijan, AzerNEWS reports.

The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) reported that a meeting was held with Juan Carlos Salazar Alvarez, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Chile in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Tural Hacili, Deputy Executive Director of AZPROMO, provided information about the agency’s activities, Azerbaijan’s business and investment environment, as well as the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, which is scheduled to take place in September this year.

The sides reached an agreement to facilitate the participation of Chilean companies and relevant institutions in the forum.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on the prospects for developing economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Chile, as well as priority areas of mutual interest.

The sides discussed opportunities to expand ties between the business communities of the two countries and implement joint initiatives in the future.
