On October 30, the Contemporary Art Museum in Baku will host an exhibition of brothers Mahmud and Teymur Rustamovs entitled "Themes".
According to Mahmud Rustamov, the exhibition will feature over 40 sculptures including portrait and abstract ones and samples of computer graphics. Projects of young sculptors and suggestions for decorating the Baku will take a prominent place in the exhibition. These are projects of park sculptures, monumental and memorial monuments.
Rustamov brothers are the sons of famous Azerbaijani sculptor Aslan Rustamov, a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan since 1962, who is the author of famous sculptures including granite monument to renowned Azerbaijani poet Seyid Azim Shirvani in Shamakhi, monuments to Azerbaijani writer and statesman Nariman Narimanov in Russia and Germany.
Rustamovs are authors of monuments to Heydar Aliyev, monument to Khojaly victims and monument to famous Azerbaijani composer Vasif Adigozalov. The exhibition will last till November 6.
