Azerbaijani President received Stavropol governor

The Azerbaijani leader expressed confidence the Stavropol Governor's visit would be “a success”.

President Ilham Aliyev praised the Azerbaijan-Russia relations, saying they were developing.

“There is good potential to develop relations between Azerbaijan and Russia`s federal subjects, Stavropol in particular.”

The President expressed confidence a forthcoming Azerbaijan-Stavropol business forum would contribute to expanding “our bilateral cooperation”.

Gaevsky said Stavropol placed “great emphasis” on cooperation with Azerbaijan.

“I've come with a large delegation consisting of 150 businessmen, and it proves how much interest we have towards Azerbaijan.”

The Governor said the aim of their visit was to “explore prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Stavropol Krai and take concrete steps in this regard”.
