Russian rowing federation chief visits Azerbaijan

President of Russia's Rowing Federation Leonid Drachevski is visiting Azerbaijan as the Russian national team plans to have a training camp in the country's city of Mingachevir as part of their preparation for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

On Friday, he will travel to Mingachevir to inspect construction of the Kur Olympic Sport Complex designed to host different water sport tournaments.

Drachevski, 68, has headed Russia`s governing body for rowing since 2008.
