Baku’s National Gymnastics Arena has hosted awarding ceremony of the winners of the second day of the Azerbaijan and Baku Championship among Age Categories in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, as well as Azerbaijan Championship in Acrobatics Gymnastics.
Anar Hasanov won gold in the all-round competition in men’s artistic gymnastics among athletes of 2004-2005, Rasul Ahmadzade took the second place, and Aydin Alizade took the third place. Ramin Damirov became the winner in the age category of 2002-2004, and Mansum Safarov won a silver medal. Samed Mammadli became the champion among the athletes of 2000-2002, Javidan Babayev took the second place. The first place among the athletes of the age category of 1999 born and older was taken by Timur Bayramov, Murad Agarzayev took the second place.
In total, more than 150 athletes were competing for the title of champion within the two-day competitions. They represented Baku Gymnastics School, “Ojaq Sport” Club, Republican Olympic Spots Lyceum, and Sumgait city.
