US Embassy in Azerbaijan welcomed the release of bloggers.
“We welcome the early release of Azerbaijani youth leaders and bloggers Adnan Hajizade and Emin Milli. The United States has shown a strong interest in the cases of Hajizade and Milli, as evidenced by both President Obama and Secretary Clinton publicly calling for their release," the U.S. embassy said in a statement.
"The decision by Azerbaijani courts to release the two bloggers constitutes a positive step. We hope for a speedy release of journalist Eynulla Fatullayev, as well. An independent judiciary, free from political influence and a vibrant civil society are cornerstones of a modern democratic state," it says in a statement.
"The United States remains committed to working with the government and people of Azerbaijan to advance democratic reforms, including on freedom of expression and association."
