Azerbaijan Diaspora of United States launches campaign to mark 19th anniversary of occupation of Shusha

The Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations in foreign countries launched a campaign to mark the 19th anniversary of the occupation of Shusha by Armenian Armed Forces.

Members of the Azerbaijan Diaspora have sent hundreds of letters to international organizations. In these letters the activists of the Diaspora describes the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan, Armenia's policy of occupation and ethnic cleansing, occupation of Azerbaijani territories and other issues.

Over 40 mln. of Azerbaijanis living abroad applied to the United Nations to boost up the implementation of 4 resolutions adopted by UN Security Council.

Senator from Maryland Barbara Mikulski has responded to the letter. She highly valued the Azerbaijan Diaspora's appeal.

On May 8 the "Berlin-Baku gallery" will host the event titled "Silent city Shusha" dedicated to the Azerbaijan city Shusha, occupied by Armenia.
