Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters scoop five medals in Croatia

The 14-strong Azerbaijan taekwondo national team has won five medals in the Croatia Open.

Farida Azizova (67 kg) and Elvin Mammadov (74 kg) have beaten Elin Johansson (Sweden) and Alireza Azizi (Iran) respectively to climb the highest step on the podium.

Fariz Aliyev (68 kg) secured a silver medal while Khayale Guliyeva (46kg) and Tavakkur Bayramov snatched bronze medals.

Elvin Mammadov claimed a title of the fighter with the best technique.
