Azeri young heavyweight lifter wins European gold medal

Azeri athlete Pasha Ibrahimli weighing in at 56 kg became the winner on the first day of the European Youth Weightlifting championships in Ciechanów – Poland. He lifted 233 kg (105+128).

Another Azeri young heavyweight lifter Allahyar Abishov (50kg) has won a bronze medal after lifting 182 kg (81+101).
