Azerbaijan kickboxer wins world title for 13th time

Famous Azerbaijani kickboxer Eduard Mammadov won the world championship in the Hungarian town of Szeged.
The competition held for the 16th time took place on the version of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO). Edward triumphed over several strong contenders, including a kickboxer from Kazakhstan in the final.

Beating his rival from Kazakhstan, the Azerbaijani "White Wolf" became a 13-time world champion strengthening his leading position in the list of the most acclaimed current kickboxers of the world. In total, Azerbaijani national team won five gold, four silver and one bronze medals in Szeged. In the team event, in the low-kick category, the Azerbaijani team took 1 st place among 24 countries.
