Int'l Show Jumping Tournament due in Baku

The CSI4* International Show Jumping Tournament devoted to national leader Heydar Aliyev is going to be held in Baku.

The Elite Horse and Polo Club in Bina settlement will host the event on May 7-9.

The tournament is jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation and Amapola Exclusive Events.

The international tournament will see the rides from Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Luxemburg, Iran and other countries. A total of 25 athletes and about 65 horses are expected to compete at the event.

Referee colleague from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Germany, Russia, Iran and Hungary will judge the tournament.

Total money prize of the tournament is 203,500 euro.

The tours that will be held on April 7 and 8 will start at 12:00am, and a big tour and GP held on the final day will start at 6:00pm.

The event will be broadcasted by Azerbaijan’s Idman TV channel.
