Azerbaijan sends 110 tons of food aid to Somalia

As many as 110 tons of food aid from Azerbaijan was sent to Somalia via Turkish city Adana. According to Turkish media outlets, the aid was realized by Azerbaijani company Azersun Holding.

The aid pack includes flour, vegetable oil, baby food etc.

Leadership of Turkish humanitarian organization INN expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the organization of the food aid and called it an example of solidarity and brotherhood.

Note that earlier, the Azerbaijani government issued $100,000 financial aid to Somalia.
