Azerbaijani Health Ministry announces results of dental and neurosurgery exams

The Azerbaijani Health Ministry published the results of the regular dental and neurosurgery exams held on Feb. 23.

96 of the 97 physicians who participated in the exams passed, the ministry told Trend. Eleven physicians aced the exam. Examinations will be held on March 2 on obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics.

The process of certifying doctors was launched in January this year. Until now, the Health Ministry has issued certificates to 161 specialists. This certificate entitles health care employees to engage in practical medicine and pharmaceutical activity for five years.
