Azerbaijan`s Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company and International Press Institute boost cooperation

Director of Azerbaijan`s Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company Ismayil Omarov met Alison Bethel McKenzie, chief of International Press Institute (IPI).

Mr. Omarov updated the guest on activity, technical opportunities and international relations of the broadcasting company. He said the company is a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (APBU) and actively participates in numerous large-scale projects. He underlined the company hosted the 64th EBU General Assembly in July 2010. Omarov said Azerbaijan`s Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company is keen to cooperate with IPI.

Mrs. McKenzie familiarized herself with the studios of the broadcasting company and employees. She said IPI is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan`s Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company.
