School uniform prices may increase in Azerbaijan

Rising cotton prices on the world markets have influenced the firms engaging in clothing production in Azerbaijan. The local clothing producers increased the prices due to increasing of cotton prices.

Note that, most of local producers purchase the raw materials for clothing from Turkey and they noted that the prices of stuffs importing from Turkey rose approximately 50%.

Rising of prices influenced the all uniforms and simple clothes. Director of Aynur Company Huseynaga Mahmudov says that the uniform prices rose from AZN 10 to AZN 13, workers’ jackets from AZN 20 to AZN 23.

Baku Sewing House is going to apply the clients on reviewing the prices. According to Deputy Chairman of Baku Sewing House Eldar Hagverdiyev the stuff prices rose from $ 5.85-6 to $ 6.8-7.

Price rise will be observed in school forms, as well.
