Renowned Azerbaijani writer's 130th anniversary to be marked in Baku

An event marking 130th anniversary of renowned Azerbaijani writer Abdulla Shaig will be held in his house-museum in Baku.

The event will bring together representatives of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku State University, a music college, Abdulla Shaig library and prominent cultural figures who will make presentations about great writer’s life and activities.

The event will also feature author’s “Garaja Giz” play to be performed by artists of the Theatre of Young Spectators.
