"Azerbaijan 20- Visions 2020" to be held in Strasbourg, France

As it was announced earlier Azerbaijani Students and Alumni International Forum (ASAIF) have informed the applicants on selection results to participate at ASAIF Strasbourg Forum devoted to the topics of “Azerbaijan 20- Visions 2020” to be held on 11-12 March in Strasbourg, France.

Azerbaijani Students and Alumni in Europe showed a massive interest in the event and as a result more than 800 applications were received representing 40 countries. ASAIF have confirmed the participation of 150 applicants, who are mostly current students, recent alumni, researchers and scientists. As was stated in the data sheet created as a result of accepted applications, 35% of applications were directed by female applicant and UK students and alumni were the most active in the process with 95 received applications.

Invited participants are those active in diaspora and lobbying activities as well as students studying medicine, mathematics, chemistry, physics, oil sector and engineering, information technologies, economics, law and international relations. It is important to note that ASAIF is already scheduling upcoming events in different countries for those students who have applied but was not successful to participate at the event. ASAIF would like to thank all of the applicants of Strasbourg Forum devoted to “Azerbaijan 20- Visions 2020” to be held on 11-12 March, 2011 in Strasbourg, France.
