New chief appointed for Dashkasan region executive power

Azerbaijan 's President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order appointing Ahad Abiyev the head of Dashkesen district executive power, the official website of the Azerbaijani President reported.

Ahad Abiyev was born Jan. 15, 1958 in Masalli. He graduated from the Faculty of Economy and Planning of the Azerbaijan National Economy Institute and the Faculty of Law of Tefekkur University.

In 1984-1995 he worked as an inspector, an economist and department head at the Executive Committee of Baku City.

He is a member of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, was a member of the first, second and third convocation of the Parliament. The last time he was elected from the constituency 70 of Masalli city in 2005.
