Azerbaijan's Education Ministry, World Bank mull future cooperation

Education Minister of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov has met with head of the World Bank mission to discuss future projects.
Mardanov said President Ilham Aliyev places great importance to development of education.

The Minister pointed out over 2,000 schools had been built in recent years in the country.

On cooperation with the World Bank, the Minister underlined the need to intensify implementation of joint projects.

Head of the WB mission Mark Blanc expressed hope for realization of new projects within short span of time. He pointed out the World Bank is ready to provide any assistance to Azerbaijan.
