"Azerbaijan has one of the lowest crime rates per 100,000 residents in CIS"

Azerbaijan has one of the lowest crime rates per 100,000 residents in the CIS and Eastern European area.

The accomplishments achieved in the fight against crimes provided a safe and secure environment to live for not only Azerbaijan`s citizens but also foreigners, Interior Minister of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov said at a meeting with Dutch ambassador Arjen Peter Uijterlinde.

The diplomat noted he has witnessed dynamic development presided over by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The low crime rate, according to the ambassador, proves Azerbaijan is a safe place for working and living.
