Minister says Masalli telecommunications unit blast is man-made accident

Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaleddin Heydarov visited Masally region in connection with the blast that rocked the region’s Telecommunication Junction.

Minister told journalists at the site that the blast was a man-made accident.

“The details will be known after the area is completely cleared,” he said.

Heydarov said the aid to the families of the dead and injured was on the agenda.

The officers of Interior Ministry, National Security Ministry, Prosecutor General’s Office are working at the site to identify the caused of the accident.
