Criminal case filed on Masalli telecommunication hub building's collapse

A criminal case has been filed in connection with the collapse of the building of Masalli telecommunication hub in Azerbaijan. The Prosecutor's Office of the region opened a criminal case under Article 124.2 of the Criminal Code (murder on imprudence of two or more persons), Masalli Region Prosecutor's Office told Trend on Tuesday.

According to information, a working commission has bee created to clarify the causes of the incident. As a result of a strong explosion on Monday afternoon in the building of Masalli telecommunication hub, two people died and four injured.

Dead bodies of Kishvar Shahverdiyeva and Asim Aliyev were taken out under the ruins of the building of Masalli telecommunication hub. During the incident Ibadet Guliyev, Ziyafet Mammadov, Ilkin Ibishev and Natig Mammadov were injured, deputy prosecutor of Masalli district Vagif Bayramov told Trend earlier.

Masalli region is situated 230 kilometers in the south of Baku.
