
Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA) organized humanitarian training courses for the field engineers of the Turley’s Machinery and Chemistry Agency, head of ANAMA’s training, research and quality group Elnur Gasimov said.
Gasimov said the courses were held in the ANAMA’s regional base in Goygol region. Eight representatives of the Turkish agency are attending the courses. “ANAMA experts are instructing them about the mines and ammunitions and their deactivation.
Gasimov added that the Turkish engineers will pass the practical courses in Saloglu village of Agstafa region. They will visit the mine-clearance areas. In the end, the participants will receive special certificates.
Turkey will use ANAMA model in establishing the humanitarian mine action center. The engineers passing training in Azerbaijan will participate in the establishing and formation of that center. Earlier ANAMA organized two training courses for the engineers of the Turkey’s Nokta Yatirim and Insaat company.
