12 illegal migrants detained in Azerbaijan

12 illegal migrants were detained in Azerbaijan in January, press service of the State Border Service told APA.

As a result of measures taken by SCS against illegal migration, 9 citizens of Afghanistan were arrested with false British passport in Tehran-Baku flight at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku on January 18 and 3 citizens of Bangladesh were detained while attempting to trespass the state border in the frontier post’s territory situated in Ostarli village of Azerbaijan’s Yardimli region on January 22.
