Attention tourists: Audio-guide in Baku's Icheri Sheher to operate in other languages as well

The Department of the State Historical-Architectural Reserve “Icheri Sheher” of the Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan is planning to expand capacities of audio-guide service introduced for tourists.

The Department reports that audioguide started operating during spring holiday Novruz in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.

“Along with text the audio-guide service presents samples of national music of Azerbaijan and different routes for excursions around the country. In the future excursions with help of audit-guide will also be conduced in other languages,” it was reported.

The project was implemented with participation of one of leading European companies. Principle of operation of the audio guide consists in record of a prepared text and record sounding of audio material during excursions. Thus, tourists will receive good opportunity to get familiarized free without aid with history of Icheri Sheher and monuments, located in the territory.
