Suit filed over incident in Azerbaijani military unit: military prosecutor

As many as 164 soldiers have been hospitalized with the Military Clinic Hospital for mass food poisoning in the Garaheybat Troop Training Center in Garadagh district of Baku in late May.

A total of 158 soldiers returned to the service place after examination. Six of them underwent treatment as extra diseases were revealed in them.

Member of the Group for Public Control over Army and member of parliament Aydin Mirzazade and a group of journalists visited Garaheybat Troop Training Center.

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said the soldiers had functional disorder in stomach.

Valiyev said the Military Prosecutor's Office has not yet received conclusion of the examination.
