Cultural events on the Year of Frederic Chopin to be held in Azerbaijan

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service of Heydar Aliyev's Foundation, in this regard, the Polish Parliament has declared 2010 the Year of Frederic Chopin. In this connection, the activities on the work of the Polish composer will be held throughout the world.

In our country, Honorary Committee, represented by the Embassy of Poland in Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev's Foundation, Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society and the Baku Music Academy. has been created for the purpose.

A gala concert during which the immortal works of the great Polish composer will be performed, is planned to be held at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic named Muslim Magomayev on May 6.
