Ilham Aliyev's Foundation organizes New Year eve party for children

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, First Lady of Azerbaijan, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Arzu participated at a New Year Eve party organized by the Foundation for orphans, children of refugee and IDPs families.
The event began with a documentary film featuring national leader Heydar Aliyev who, in different years, joined children to celebrate the Solidarity Day of the World Azerbaijanis and the New Year, as well as demonstrating the Foundation`s care for orphanages and boarding-schools.

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was presented with an award for her noble activities towards increasing attention and care for children in Azerbaijan.
The First Lady made a speech at the event.

"Addressing today all governmental and non-governmental organizations dealing with children`s problems, every member of our society, I want to say that we must be even more attentive and heartfelt towards children. I want every child to be happy in Azerbaijan," she said.
Ms. Aliyeva posed for photographs together with the children.

Performance of popular singers, dance groups, clowns, juggler as well as young talents brought a special joy to children, who were also given a variety of New Year gifts.
