Solidarity Charter of World Azerbaijanis adopted

The Solidarity Charter of World Azerbaijanis was adopted in the Coordination Council of the World Azerbaijanis, APA reports.
About 20 scientists worked on the charter. The aim of the document is to work out a unique conception basing on the ideology of Azerbaijanism. The charter will determine the principles and mechanisms to ensure the main rights and liberties of the Azerbaijanis within the framework of local legislation and norms of international law.

Solidarity charter also covers the main directions of Azerbaijanis Diaspora in foreign countries. The charter consists of three chapters. One of them covers the scientific-ideological basis of the notion of "Azerbaijan" and "Azerbaijanis", the other duties of Azerbaijanis before the motherland, the last chapter covers integration of Azerbaijanis into the society, protection of rights and liberties, Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, terrorist and genocide acts committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis, exposure of Armenian genocide claims.

At the end of the meeting Coordination Council of the World Azerbaijanis appealed to President Ilham Aliyev.
