President of Azerbaijan attends opening of several social facitilies in Gala settlement - UPDATED

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of several social establishments in Gala settlement of Azizbeyov district of Baku, reports the press-secretariat for the President of Azerbaijan.

The opening of an affiliate of city hospital No 29 in Gala, kindergarten No 63, ambulance station and a chemist's shop, was held.

Large scale works in Azizbeyov district were carried by initiative of the president and parliamentarian of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and they cover the whole Gala settlement.

Reconstruction works were held at school No 185 in the settlement a new telephone station and two post offices were launched.

Moreover, the problem of water supply was settled in the settlement, the roads of the settlement were coated with asphalt and a new bus route was inaugurated.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the Gala museum of archeology and ethnography in Baku, reports Day.Az with reference to AzerTac.

The opening ceremony was also attended by president's spouse Mehriban Aliyev.

The museum complex was constructed by Heydar Aliyev's Foundation. There are burial mounds, nursing homes, a water reservoir, 5 mosques, 3 bathes and so on in the reserve.

The head of the state and his spouse closely familiarized with the museum complex. Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of creation of the museum complex in the sense of demonstration of ancient historical center plates of the fortress.
