Has AZN 50,000 been stolen from the car of human rights activist Elchin Behbudov in Baku?

Particularly, the material says that Behbudov parked his car at Huseynzade street in Yasamal district of Baku and directed for one of the offices. When he returned he saw that the car window was broken and examining the place, where AZN 50,000 was hidden, he saw money was not there.

As is noted, after it Behbudov called the police and they assured that money will be found soon. Yet, despite it, Behbudov feld bad.

The newspaper also reads that the thieves seemed to know in advance that there will be such amount of money in the car.

Day.Az correspondent contacted Elchin Behbudov, who said:

"Someone wanted to hijack my car, while information about money was false. There was no money in my car".
