Training courses on "Methods of attracting drug addicts to treatment and rehabilitation" will be held at Delfin hotel in Baku on July 10-11 in the framework of South Caucasus Anti-Drug program.

The said program is conducted by agreement between the government of Azerbaijan, UN and European Union.
According to Day.Az, training courses for officials of the Azerbaijani Ministries of Health and Justice, rendering assistance to drug addicts, will be held by program expert Heino Stoever.
The main aim of the event is to familiarize due specialists of the Ministries of Justice and Health with the experience of European countries in the sphere of medical aid to drugs in the penitentiary system, new methods and means of treating and rehabilitating persons, suffering from drug addiction.
The educational course covers issues of medical ethics, consistency of treatment, financing, attracting civil community and NGOs to the treatment process.
The training courses will also be attended by SCAD program management, representatives of NGOs, functioning in Azerbaijan, work group of the State commission for combat with drugs. The participants will be issued certificates by their results.
