Parents of editor-in-chief of Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper Eynulla Fatullayev, held in correctional facility No 12, met him yesterday, said journalist's father Emin Fatullayev.

He said E.Fatullayev feels normal and has no complaints about the detainment conditions and treatment by the jail administration.
E.Fatullayev noted that it is not allowed in prison to read opposition newspapers, unlike official newspapers, allowed for reading.
"I can not understand how can they accuse my son of terrorism, if he have not gone to streets with a gun in his hands, threatening to kill", noted journalist's father.
Emin Fatullayev noted that Eynulla asked him to bring books in English next time.
It should be noted that by decision of the Court of Grave Crimes, Fatullayev was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison under articles 214.1 (threat of terrorism), 283.2.2 (inciting national, racial or religious enmity by a person with abuse of powers) and 213.2.2 (tax evasion) of the Criminal Code.
