Azerbaijan to host sixth International Baku Conference of Ombudsmen

Press Service for Ombudsman’s Office told APA that the international conference on "Human rights in the globalizing world" will be devoted to the 60th anniversary of the adoption of UN Human Rights Declaration and Day of National Human Rights.

The conference will involve representatives of the UN Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights, president of International Ombudsman Institute, ombudsman of the state of Iowa, representative of UNESCO Headquarters, ombudsmen of a number of European and CIS countries and representatives of national human rights institutions of numerous countries.

Parliamentarians, representatives of government agencies, NGOs, international organizations, diplomatic corps functioning in Azerbaijan will also attend the conference.
