05 June 2008 [08:58] - TODAY.AZ
B-doping test for two hockey players of the Spanish team also revealed prohibited substances, like in case with A-tests, reports Day.Az with reference to the International Hockey Federation (FIH). In line with the FIH anti-doping charter, coordinated with the charter of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), both players will have a right to demand additional hearings on this case and they used their right.

The issue will be considered by FIH commission on whether anti-doping rules have been violated. After that the commission will pass its decision about sanctions. The hearings will be held in late June.

It should be noted that two Spanish sportsmen underwent doping test during the Olympic qualification final, held in Baku in April. Spain won the contest and the Olympic license after beating the Azerbaijani team (3:2) in the qualification final.
