Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Justice and member of UN Council discuss problems of women in Azerbaijan

Day.Az reports with reference to ANS that during the meeting the Deputy Minister informed the representative of the UN Committee about measures undertaken for implementation of regulations of UN convention on the elimination of all forms of female discrimination, as well as implementation of various international commitments, undertaken in this sphere.

Musayev stressed fact of violation of rights of millions of refugees, with 54% women, in the result of Armenian aggression.

In turn, the visitor stressed satisfaction with adoption of the law on gender equality in Azerbaijan and voiced hope for the soonest adoption of the law on prevention of domestic violence.
