Allahshukur Pashazadeh: "There are no religiously motivated arrests in Azerbaijan"

"There haven't been any cases of arrests for religious faith in Azerbaijan.
Everybody, even he is a religious person, is responsible for breaching law”, said Sheikhulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Department.

Sheikh said untraditional religions could intrude to the country in the period of globalization. He said it could be both Muslim and Christian cults.

"There are law-enforcement bodies in Azerbaijan to prevent the illegal religious cults".
