Remainders and bodies of pilots of Azerbaijan’s crashed MIQ-29 air force jet pulled out of the Caspian Sea

The remainders and bodies of pilots of Azerbaijan’s MIQ-29 air force jet, which crashed into the Caspian Sea on January 29, have been pulled out, Defense Ministry’s press service told APA.

The crashed MIQ-29 and the bodies of its two pilots were taken out of the sea in the evening on February 24.

The search of the flight recorder has also given positive results.

Defense Ministry’s press service reports that the people will be informed about the causes of the crash.

The air force jet crashed near Shurabad village of Khizi region on January 29 killing two pilots Fakhraddin Asgarov and Afgan Aslanov. The air force jet was bought from Ukraine in late 2006.
